Breathwork

Also referred to as circular breathing, as the breathing is connected to a circular flow connecting each breath to the next without pausing between the in- and outbreaths. This continuous connected breath guides you into the present moment and into a meditative transcendental state, bringing breath, intention and the body’s innate wisdom together. Shifting from the body and mind’s usual stress/defence response mode into deeper states of awareness.
 
The practice essentially creates a bridge between conscious intention and unconscious processes that usually remain inaccessible during normal waking states, encouraging to gently release stored emotions, integrate past experiences, and challenge limiting beliefs, all whilst staying connected to the present moment.
Some people have dramatic emotional releases, others gain subtle insights, and some simple feel deeply relaxed. All responses are valid and valuable.
Connected breathing isn’t a technique to be done ‘right’ but simply to be experienced. It’s not about control but about letting go. Through the connection with the deeper subconscious layers you give your body and mind the opportunity to step out of old patterns; patterns of tension, suppresion or shallow breating. Through this journey of self discovery you will unlock your own healing potential and step into greater alignment with yourself. It can be a very intense process, yet always healing.
